Wakakirri 2026 - Let The Performance Begin!

Wakakirri is a national story-Dance festival where school students create and perform original stories through movement and dance. 

We are incredibly proud and excited to support our talented Croydon Hills Primary School students as they take to the stage for Wakakirri 2026!

This year’s performance will be showcased at the Frankston Arts Centre on Thursday 13 August, where our students will join schools from across the region to celebrate creativity, storytelling, music, movement and performance.

Behind the scenes, our students have been working incredibly hard, rehearsing week in and week out to bring their performance to life. Their dedication, teamwork and enthusiasm have been inspiring to watch, and we couldn’t be prouder of the commitment they have shown throughout the process.

Wakakirri is about so much more than stepping onto a stage. It gives our students the opportunity to challenge themselves, work collaboratively, build confidence and share their creativity with a wider audience — all while creating memories that will last well beyond the final curtain.

We can’t wait to see our Croydon Hills performers shine under the lights. We’re hoping this will be our best Wakakirri year yet — and we know our students will give it everything they’ve got!
