ANNOUNCEMENT - Kinders at Schools

The behind-the-scenes planning for the Croydon Hills Primary School Kindergarten (interim name) continues to progress in line with the indicative timeline of term 1, 2026. The Victorian School Building Authority (VSBA) recently updated our project on their global website schoolbuildings.vic.gov.au.

The site plan image below gives a clear visualization of the location of the kindergarten within the school site. As you can see the kinder will occupy land that is largely unused by the school. Once complete, the School Council will look to enhance the remaining field to provide our students with another great play space. Whilst not shown on this map, the kinder's carpark is to the north, the building to the south and the play space in the middle of the site plan. 

 

The BSBL reform also includes significant investment in infrastructure across the state, including new kinders on or near school sites. Having the kindergarten and school together may help local children make a smooth transition into primary school and can also simplify drop-off time for some families.

A KOSS is scheduled to open at Croydon Hills Primary School in Term 1, 2026.

An approved provider will be appointed and announced in late 2025. All enrolment and program enquiries will be managed by the provider.
