CHPS Students Tour Korea
We have hosted groups of students from Maewon Elementary School in our school, though not for the last few years. We hope this will commence again in 2010.
In May 2005 twenty students, the Principal Mr Graeme Caudry and two other staff members from Croydon Hills Primary School travelled to South Korea for an exciting 10 day study tour.
Since then we have taken two more groups of CHPS students to visit South Korea. These groups went in 2006 & 2008. We expect to travel again in 2010.
Based in Seoul, the school group will have a unique opportunity to experience Korean culture and history. Included is a trip by bullet train to visit to the Hyundai Motors and ship building industries.
Highlights of the study tour were time spent with Korean host families and visits to two Korean primary schools.
